As an independent bookstore, we pride ourselves on knowing books and providing great customer service. If you can't find a book you want - ask us! We can order it for you.
If you aren't sure what to get, our staff can recommend books for all ages.

The event will now take place at the Nannie J Lee Memorial Recreation Center. You will pick up your books, signing line tickets, and purchase merchandise onsite at the auditorium. Still want a signed copy? Stop by the store or call us at 703-548-4092 by Wednesday, February 7 to purchase a copy of Oodles of Kittens. We will have your book signed and personalized. Also, for the cost of shipping, we can ship your book to anywhere in the U.S.

STORYTIMES FRIDAY AND SATURDAYJoin us on Friday and Saturday mornings at 10:30 am for a story time for the the wee-ones and toddlers: 0-3 year olds! Our story time experts will read your young ones board and picture; sing songs and perform and teach some fingerplays. It's free and open to the public! 10:30 am.PLEASE NOTE:
Our regular Wee-Ones Story Times are stroller-free zones!During our storytimes, we do not permit stroller parking in the store. This is to ensure a safe, fun environment at story time! Thank you for your cooperation and hooray for story time!

If we happen to be sold out when you come to the store, or if we don't carry the book you're looking for, don't worry: we can order any book in print (for children AND for adults) and we can usually have a copy to you in 2-3 days.Running low on time? We take phone orders, and can have gifts wrapped and ready to go. Out-of-town relatives looking for suggestions? We offer gift registry services and can work with you to create a reader's wish list.
